Timothy, a Leader with a Legacy

Bible Basis: 2 Timothy 1:1–6; 2 Timothy 3:14–16

Memory Verse: “When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also” (2 Timothy 1:5).

Lesson AIM: By the end of the lesson, we will:

1. Identify the parts of Timothy’s upbringing that contributed to his identity as a faithful witness.
2. Explain the wisdom that comes from the study of God’s Word.
3. List practices that might nurture children into becoming faithful witnesses.
