The Imprint of God

Bible Basis: Hebrews 1:1–9

Background Scriptures: Hebrews 1; John 1:1–5, 10–14

Memory Verse: “Who [Jesus] being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power” (Hebrews 1:3a).

Bible Truth: Christ is the reflection of God’s glory, and addresses life’s questions with a powerful and sustaining Word.

Lesson AIM: By the end of the lesson, we will:

1. JUDGE: that Jesus expresses fully God’s very being in the world.
2. APPRECIATE: that Jesus during His earthly life experienced the full range of human experience.
3. CREATE: ways to seek Jesus’ continued guidance in our lives.
